Solo traveler... Part 2

New York City:
The City of New York, often called New York City (NYC) or simply New York or Big Apple City, is the most populous city in the United States.

Now I can hear people who knows me personally: Daj, you can’t put NYC on your list!! There was a time you were in New Jersey every 6 months. And my reply is: How many Haitians from Montreal can truly say they went to NYC to discover the city and not for a wedding nor a funeral nor a graduation nor some concert nor to simply see family? I rest my case!
On my way to Montreal for "holidays", I said earlier I had a stop in Amsterdam. Since I didn't have a chance to see all my family in New Jersey before leaving to UAE I decided to stop in Newark before going to Montreal. One afternoon, once everyone left for work I decided to take the train and visit The Big Apple City.  Looking back, it wasn't a bright idea... my phone was not fully charged and no portable charger...

Cape Town
is a coastal city in South Africa. It is the second-most populous urban area in South Africa after Johannesburg. It is also the capital and primate city of the Western Cape province.

To finally meet the Poets In Autumn was the main reason of me travelling to Cape Town. I must admit; Cape Town is one of my favorite cities. Its reminding me of Montreal because of its cultural diversity. I really enjoyed my stay and wish to visit other South African cities in the future.

That's all for my recent travels. Hope you are inspire to discover the world!

May will be my last month in UAE. I'm truly excited to see my family and friends. I will be back to comfort zone but with a stretched mind. I'm now seeing the world differently and I have a better idea of what I want in life. I will continue to write, no worries.

With this blog I wish I encourage and motivate more than one. They say: Brave doesn't mean you are not scared. It means you go on even though you are scared"

"Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire"

Keep it up!
